The
San Carlos-Eaton Hills 4-H Club offers
you and
your family opportunities for hands-on-learning in
a
friendly, fun environment. Led by parent volunteers, individual
projects meet throughout the year to explore, do, and make. Project
members exhibit their crafts and show animals each June at the
San Mateo County Fair.
Traditional
4-H projects--raising a lamb at our club farm, learning about
your rabbit, creating a quilt--remain at the core of our club's
activities, but a 4-H project today can be as modern as web-design
and as far-reaching as astronomy!
4-H
fosters confidence in public speaking and a commitment to community
service. Youth officers lead our general meetings, and achievement
is recognized on the county, state, and national level. 4-H builds
active, responsible citizens.
Kids
in 4-H learn-by-doing in an atmosphere where learning is fun!
